A few weeks ago I posted about the Haynes Star Wars Rebellion Starfighters Manual which was a lot of fun to read.
Equally as fun to read is the Star Trek USS Enterprise Manual which was published back in 2010. If you are a Trekkie/Trekker and your passion is starships then you need this book in your collection!
The manual gives a history of the Starship Enterprise, starting with the NX-01 and taking us through the NCC-1701 before moving on through iterations A, B, C D and ending with the Sovereign Class Enterprise-E. Star Trek Technical Consultants, Mike and Denise Okuda provide the foreword to the book.
Each section gives an overview of the different starship classes with plenty of illustrations, cutaways, technical schematics and photographs to please most fans.
There are also some great sections on warp theory, parallel universes and more. At the end of the book is an appendix where you will find a handy size comparison chart for all 7 ships covered in this manual.
To go alongside the manual, Haynes also released a 1000 piece jigsaw of the Enterprise on the front cover. I have it but to this day it remains sealed! I may buy another to make.
To get your copy of the manual go here to the Haynes website.
