I can’t believe that its May 4th already and here we are celebrating another year of Star Wars and boy what a year its been! We had Season 2 of The Mandalorian with a huge cameo at the end, lots of announcements about future projects including shows based on Obi-Wan Kenobi, once again played by Ewan McGregor and Temura Morrison will be reprising his role of Boba Fett in ‘The Book of Boba Fett’! Today also saw the release of the premiere episode of ‘The Bad Batch’.
On top of that we’ve had many new books and comics including the new ‘High Republic’ series and lots and lots of collectables/toys/memorabilia- whatever you choose to call them! Just like my other equally favourite franchise its a good time to be a Star Wars fan, though I must say that Disney and Lucasfilm have done a far better job with merchandise!
As I’ve said before, Star Wars means family to me for many reasons. You can find my other posts on the topic by choosing ‘Star Wars’ from the above menu. There really is something for everyone is the Star Wars Universe and its OK to not like something- just don’t hate on those that don’t share your opinions. Rejoice in the differences.
One thing that caught my attention today was the amount of new artwork Disney has commissioned as a front page for each film and series. Each image is by a different artist and are far as I’m concerned they are all amazing. My favourites though are the images for ‘The Empire Strikes Back’, ‘Solo’ and ‘The Rise of Skywalker’.

Vintage Ewok movies ‘The Caravan of Courage’ and ‘Battle for Endor’ as well as the animated shows ‘Droids’ and ‘Ewoks’ are also now up on Disney Plus!
